Dog friendly Deluxe Double Ensuite
The dog friendly Acorn Loft is spacious and airy, the original vaulted ceiling now incorporates Velux skylights that drench the room in daylight (and can be blacked out at night). Rich pine paneling and exposed beams will lend a Scandinavian feel to your holiday in Cornwall.
Generously proportioned, the bedroom includes a king-sized bed, luxury sofa and armchairs. The original features continue into the roomy en-suite bathroom, which also boasts beautiful exposed beams, along with a dressing table, bath and separate shower, ensuring that you’ll have everything you need. The fridge, concealed in the walk-in cupboard, offers the luxury of chilled wine for those relaxing evenings watching the sun set over the surrounding countryside.
Overlooking the traditional courtyard area, the Acorn Suite has its own private entrance, ensuring privacy and seclusion throughout your Farm Holiday.
We love our dogs and understand how difficult it can be to leave them at home so we accept well behaved dogs in Acorn only by prior arrangement. We apply a reasonable daily charge and ask that dog owners take responsibility for any damage caused directly or indirectly by their dogs. We know that on the whole dog owners take great pride in the behaviour of their dogs, unfortunately things do occasionally go wrong. Even our own dogs have their “moments”.
Therefore we ask that
- Dogs must be kept on leads at all times
- Must not be left alone in the room
- Must not be allowed on the furniture.
Trenderway Farm is a working farm with livestock, our own four very sociable dogs and two cats (that like dogs).
If you think that your dog is not safe with cattle, sheep, chickens, alpacas, other dogs or cats, please consider carefully whether this is a suitable environment into which to bring your dog.
Joey and Rafi make friends with Benson, who brought his owner on holiday in Acorn
Joey used to play with Anna ( a cow that is not in this picture) when she was small. They would play with each other round the field, until one day he got caught by a hoof. By this time she was 400kg and Joey now keeps his distance
When Poppy the cat was young, there was nothing she like more than to curl up in Joey’s arms for a good snooze.
Jasper is such a gentleman. He is getting on though and is quite deaf, so you will have to use sign language.
